diameter and therefore a variable.
Blades
These are single skin 3 mm marine grade stainless
steel and are securely bolted to stainless steel stub
spindles. The stub spindles rotate in oil impregnat-
ed sintered bronze bearings in the centre
hub and casing, and are linked externally
to provide parallel blade motion.
Galvanised material option available.
Adjustment Mechanism
A robust external stainless steel linkage
connects the blade stub spindles togeth-
er and provides for each blade segment
to maintain an identical angle through its
travel from fully open to closed. The
blade limkage is operated manually by a
lever and lockable quadrant arrange-
ment.
Options
The following drive options are available:
Hand wheel and gearbox to provide fine
adjustment through the range from fully
open to closed.
Pneumatic or electric actuator with the
supply controlled by a suitable posi-
tioner to provide modulating control.
