Built for the marine industry to provide low level, cost effective fire integrity, the LFD holds Type Approval Certification for cellulosic fire conditions A0 – A60 along with ATEX third party approval and Marine Equipment Directive (MED) certification from Lloyds Register, including recognition by the US Coast Guard (USCG) under the Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA).

Suitable for in-duct, bulkhead, and deck installations, the LFD is a versatile device for use in both safe and hazardous areas with fully customisable design from simple control layouts to SIL 2 certified assemblies, where reliability is critical.
