Case Study: Nabeelah Nauzeer (Project Engineer)

I started my journey with Wozair about 5 years ago when I was a student at Kingston University, studying Aerospace Engineering. After my year-long placement, I went back to University to complete my third year and then went on to do a Masters in Engineering Projects & Systems Management.

Upon completion, I was offered a job at Wozair as a Project Engineer, working in the Contracts/Dampers Department. I started this role in January 2017. I now assume the responsibility of a Senior Project Engineer, looking after a team of about 4 people, including project engineers and student engineers.

I’ve always wanted to become an engineer since I had a passion for Maths and I thought this would be the perfect place/position to apply and also enjoy my passion. Being a student at Wozair has helped me become who I am today and experience life on the edge – understanding the working environment, collaborating with colleagues from different backgrounds, learning about ways to contact clients from different parts of the World. It was an exciting year for me since I was working on real life projects, dealing with real clients, involving budget/financial aspects of the job.

It has really benefitted me in my current position as well since I’ve been able to carry on all the experiences achieved and now building upon them to make them finer and more solid.
